BUTTERWORTH, Nov 3 — The Royal Malaysian Customs Department seized 5.8 million sticks of white cigarettes worth over RM400,000 with a RM3.7 million excise duty, smuggled in boxes of instant noodles last Thursday (October 26).

SHAH ALAM, Jan 8 — The Selangor branch of the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) seized 1.12 million packets of various brands of instant noodle, from a factory in Rawang yesterday, on suspicion of using a halal logo which is not certified by the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim).
